Welcome to week 4! You are halfway there! This week the book focuses on teacher clarity. Clarity is a short word with many components. In this module we will dive into the clarity practices and planning components. There is a lot of meat in this chapter so feel free to take your time reading and give yourself some processing breaks.
Read: Please read, Module 5: Teacher Clarity at a Distance
Reflect: Post your response to one of the prompts below by Monday morning.
Clarity relies heavily on the four practices, standards, clarity questions, and unit planning.
Option 1: Identify a learning target that you are planning to teach in the next week. Examine the three questions that contribute to teacher clarity. How will you assure that your students can answer the three questions during and/or after your lesson?
OR
Option 2: Which of the following resonated the most with you and how will it contribute to your distance learning toolbelt in the coming months? (analyzing standards, creating learning intentions, the three questions that contribute to teacher clarity, unit planning, flow, success criteria)
Interact: On Monday, read your colleagues' reflections and respond to at least one other post by sharing a comment, insight, or interesting possibility by next Thursday.
